King George Corridor

Intro
Nestled in the heart of South Surrey, King George Corridor hugs Highway 99 all the way down to the Peace Arch border crossing. Popular shopping hubs, golfing, majestic parks and outstanding community recreation centres nearby make this a trendy spot to live. 

Location
King George Boulevard is the first South Surrey/White Rock exit off of HWY 99. King George Blvd then runs parallel with HWY 99 all the way south before it intersects near the US border crossing.

Housing Insights
Newer townhome developments have been popping up in the King George area supplementing the older and infill homes in the area. Gated communities are also a little more popular along King George than the other South Surrey neighbourhoods. 

Schools
Semiahmoo Trail, Jessie Lee, Peace Arch, and South Meridian elementary schools are service the area. Earl Marriott is the secondary school in the neighbourhood. Star of the Sea Catholic School and Southridge Private School also contribute to higher levels of private school education in the area.

Shopping
Grandview Corners and the Shops at Morgan Crossing are all in the immediate area for all your shopping needs. Cactus Club, Milestones and a number of other well-known restaurants can all be found here. Cross border shopping is also very popular with residents of the South Surrey area.

Recreation
Alderwood, Spruce, and Peace Arch Park are all common outdoor getaways for nearby locals. Peace Portal Golf course is another popular attraction for sports enthusiasts.
